Breezeby Goes Live on the Bridge

By |2019-12-07T00:44:54+00:00December 7th, 2019|

Breezeby goes live on the Bridge of the Gods on January 6th, 2020. Breezeby is an electronic tolling system for paying tolls which is currently used on the Hood River-White Salmon Bridge in Hood River. Each time you cross the Bridge your toll is automatically deducted from the balance on your prepaid account. The Breezeby technology will replace both the local stickers and coupon book discount programs. After that, the only way to get the discounted toll will be to sign up for a Breezeby account. There are no fees to open a Breezeby account, and your first transponder is free. Each additional transponder per household is $5. You can sign up for an account by going to Portofcascadelocks.org and clicking on the Breezeby link. You can also go into either the Port of Hood River office or the Port of Cascade Locks office to sign up for an account. Current Port of Hood River Breezeby customers will be able to use their transponders to cross both Bridges. The Port will not sell coupon books after Dec. 20th, and coupons will not be accepted for toll payment after February 3rd, 2020. Customers with leftover coupons can redeem them at either Port office for credit to a Breezeby account. Breezeby account holders with standard 2 axle vehicles will pay $1.25 per crossing at the Bridge of the Gods. The cash toll will be $2.00. The official press release from Port of Cascade Locks and Port of Hood River can be read here. You can learn more about BreezeBy by visiting our BreezeBy page.
