The Port is working with the Oregon Department of Transportation on completing the engineering and permitting stage of the new Marine Park Entrance. The new entrance will offer separate vehicle and pedestrian access, creating a safe entry into the park. Basalt rock and other materials will be used to create an entrance that will be reminiscent of the Historic Columbia River Highway, which runs through Cascade Locks. The Port is very excited about this project and the impact it will have on Marine Park.
