Established Spring 2011
Cascade Locks residents gathered on Earth Day 2011, April 22, to volunteer their time in building six raised garden beds and one compost bin for the brand new Cascade Locks Community Garden, located near the Community Center (Locktender House 3). Since then, a fence has been built around the garden and Community Garden members have begun planting.
The Port donated building materials and is hosting the garden in the Marine Park. If you are interested in obtaining a plot in the garden or would like more information, please contact Samantha Verschuren.
There is currently no fee to join the community garden, however Community Garden members agree to and abide by a set of rules and guidelines, available below:

If you are visiting the garden, please take note:
The plantings inside each raised bed in the Garden belong to the Community Garden member(s) to which the raised bed was assigned. Visitors are welcome to stop by and view the garden, however only Community Garden members may harvest from their raised garden beds. Thank You!
